Reporting an Event

Streamlined Event Reporting Process

  • Scan QR code or use link: Point your camera phone at the QR code or use the provided link to initiate the event reporting process.
  • Enter mobile number: Enter your mobile number to enable the system to contact you for further assistance.
    OTP validation: An OTP will be sent to validate your mobile number for added security.
  • Patched through conference call: After OTP validation, the system will call you and connect you with the available emergency contact on a conference call.

In Case of a Call Drop:

  • Repeat reporting event process: If the call drops, you can repeat the event reporting process to resume communication.
  • Click “Reconnect” button: Alternatively, click on the “Reconnect” button to quickly reconnect to the ongoing call.

What Happens When an Event is Reported:

  • Simultaneous dialing of emergency contacts: The system will simultaneously dial all the designated emergency contacts to ensure prompt response.
  • Conference call connection: The first emergency contact to answer the call will be connected with the event reporter on a conference call.
  • Notification for missed calls: Other emergency contacts who miss the call will receive a text message indicating the contact who has already responded to the reported event.

What Happens If No One Answers the Call:

  • Multiple dialing attempts: The system will continue dialing the emergency contacts multiple times until one of them answers the call.
  • Ensuring prompt response: This ensures that the event report reaches someone and can be addressed promptly, even if initial attempts go unanswered.
Managing Emergency Contacts

Simplified Contact Management

  • No emergency contacts added: Prompted to add up to 3 emergency contacts for a reliable support system.
  • OTP for consent: Each added emergency contact receives an OTP for consent before being listed.
  • Connect and request OTP: Connect with the emergency contact and request the OTP for verification.
  • Enter received OTP: Register the contact as an emergency contact by entering the received OTP.

Deleting an Emergency Contact:

  • Select contact: Choose the emergency contact you wish to delete from the list.
  • Choose “Delete” option: Initiate the deletion process by selecting the “Delete” option.
  • Confirm deletion: Confirm the removal of the selected emergency contact for immediate updates.
  • Re-add or add new: Follow the process of adding emergency contacts to add the same number or any other number again.
